2025 Christmas Offering
Good News For India, Northern India
One of the ways Good News For India is involved in proclaiming the gospel in India is through Christian education. Christian schools in India have a great reputation for the quality education they provide. Many unbelieving Indians desire to send their children to Christian schools because they know they will receive the best education. The schools have become an effective way to share and show the love of Christ. Although Christian conversion cannot be taught or advocated by the school, the government allows moral education in the schools, and the Bible and teachings of Jesus are used for this portion of the education curriculum. Each school day begins with the Lord’s Prayer and the singing of Christian worship songs. Even so, the schools are enthusiastically received by the Hindu/Muslim communities they serve. The completed work of gospel sharing comes through the work of the teachers and staff members of the schools. Teachers see themselves as missionaries and utilize their influence to share the gospel whenever possible. They start bible studies, prayer meetings, and churches. The teachers are also committed to prayer for the villages, students, and families.

The Offering - $27,000 Goal
One of the schools is located in Bhagwanpur, a very needy community where many of the teachers and staff of the school are missionaries from other parts of India. The school is struggling to accommodate housing for the teachers and staff and have begun building apartments for them. They desire to build 8 apartments to help with this need. These apartments will be utilized for years to house current and future school faculty. Each apartment costs roughly $27,000. Our goal would be to fund the construction of at least one of these apartments.
